This album was created in 2013 .
I started it in Barcelona with my good friend Paco Jordi .
Paco is one of the first people i met in Barcelona , he was 19 years old at the time , and through the last 12 years we have toured and recorded with Brazzaville, Holland Park , and his solo project ,Pony Boy .

During the summer while traveling and surfing in Nicaragua , I decided to continue with this project .
The good thing was that there was plenty of extra time in between surf sessions .
It was quite a challenge recording an entire album under a mosquito net,,, with just a laptop,,,,, and one microphone .
But, through some inventiveness , and the help of some friends , i think it worked out !

During that time in Nicaragua , I was lucky enough to have my great friend Brian Young come visit .
Not a bad thing to have one of the best guitar players on planet earth show up !
Brian 's played with everyone ,,, he shreds ,,,,,,, and he surfs pretty damn good as well !!!

The last song on the album " 3 Zeros " is a composition/decomposition from another great friend named Tim Harrold .
Usually Tim sits in front of three very large screens designing funny things he calls boats .
This was the very first musical thing he has ever made , and I just loved it's creative freshness .
The oration in this song is from Brian Young , as I recorded him one afternoon talking about very ,very big numbers .

Once the album was finished ,i handed it over to my very talented and generous friend Doug Schwartz .
Doug has elephant ears , and to have someone of his caliber MASTER this album, from the haunts of Cherokee Ranch studios , was a gift from above .

Lastly , there is me .
I'm 51 years old .
Although i was born in New Mexico , i was raised in Souhern California.
I surf , not great , but probably better than you . haha
My very first concert was KISS ,But my earliest musical inspirations came from the music of Burt Bacharach .
i still believe , and look for magic .
and although one of my first music teachers told me " there is no magic in music " , i beg to differ with him .
